Mauricio has over 25 years of experience as a financial markets and products attorney (in-house at Charles Schwab and Morgan Stanley and at national law firms), and has been in the digital assets space since 2017. Mauricio recently served as Chief Legal Officer, Head of Legal and Compliance Division at OKX, where he was also a member of numerous regulated global entity Boards. Mauricio is admitted to practice law in New York, California and the District of Columbia, and is regularly a featured speaker about digital assets, having most recently spoken at Singapore Token2049 and at CoinAlts Fund Symposium in San Francisco. Mauricio is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Melissa has more than 25 years of experience as a litigation, regulatory and financial markets attorney and has been in the digital assets space since 2022. Melissa's traditional finance experience came through her roles at nationally-recognized law firms (Wilson Sonsini and Sidley), as well as serving as in-house counsel and an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. In the digital assets space, Melissa most recently held the position of Global General Counsel and Head of Licensing at OKX. Melissa also served as Chairman of the Board of OKX Dubai and as a Director of OKX's Bahamian and Australian regulated entities. Melissa is admitted to practice law in California. Melissa is based in Chicago.
Co-Founder, CTO & Head of Product
Peter has over 20 years of experience building and scaling technology products at the intersection of fintech, crypto, and consumer internet. Peter previously held product leadership roles at Lime, Square, Facebook, and Microsoft — where he shipped impactful products at scale, built high-performing teams, and drove user and revenue growth across both Web2 and Web3 domains. Peter has been in the digital assets space since 2014 and before founding ShredPay most recently held the role of VP of Product at OKX where he led retail product development and pioneered DeFi integrations into the exchange. He also spearheaded the launch of OKX's regulated and licensed market initiatives. Peter is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
